This digital marketing course was designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in modern marketing strategies. Throughout the semester the course focused on understanding how digital platforms, tools, and data are used to analyze customer behavior. This is important because this insight will improve business performance. The structure of the course was organized in a way that allowed each assignment to build on the previous assignment. Progressing through this course I gradually started to develop a better understanding of digital marketing. This course helped me connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.

During this course, I developed a strong understanding of key digital marketing concepts. I also learned about the digital marketing environment and how businesses operate within it. Additionally, I gained knowledge in search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing strategies. These concepts helped me understand how companies attract, engage, and retain customers in a competitive digital landscape.

The course emphasized a lot of hands-on learning through a series of assignments that allowed me to apply what I learned. I built and managed my own website, created detailed customer personas for real companies, conducted SEO keyword research, and developed blog content using AI tools. I also created LinkedIn posts to promote my work and analyzed Google reviews. These projects helped me gain experience working with real data and understanding how digital marketing strategies are implemented.

One of the most valuable aspects of this course was learning how to use AI tools effectively. I used ChatGPT to assist with creating customer personas, conducting keyword research, and analyzing customer reviews. Additionally, I used Leonardo.AI to create images that enhanced my blog content. This experience showed me how AI can be used as a powerful tool to improve digital marketing tasks.

This course also helped me develop my data analysis skills. I analyzed customer reviews from Google Maps to identify patterns, strengths, and areas for improvement. I also used Google Analytics (GA4) to track website performance. These experiences taught me how to interpret data and use it to support marketing decisions and strategies.

Throughout this semester, I used real companies such as adidas and Under Armour. I created customer personas, analyzed customer reviews, and developed marketing recommendations based on the data. One of my key achievements in this course was successfully building a complete digital marketing portfolio that includes blog posts, customer personas, and data analysis. An important thing I learned is that data and customer feedback play a critical role in shaping effective marketing strategies. My posts received several likes, comments, and shares, which helped increase my visibility on the platform. I also experienced growth in my professional network by gaining several new connections.
Using Google Analytics (GA4), I was able to track the performance of my website over time. From January 12, 2026 to the present, I monitored metrics such as total active users, total sessions, and total engaged sessions. These metrics provided valuable insight into how users interact with my website and which content performs best. This experience helped me understand how to evaluate website performance and make data-driven improvements.
